Like most photographers, I started my photography business because I loved photography and capturing beautiful moments. And for the first 18 months of my business I followed that approach, but it didn’t take long to realise that it takes much more than that to run a thriving business. So I made a conscious decision to take my business to the next level, and there were two key elements that helped with that: learning from more successful individuals, and crafting an effective marketing plan.
